When I got the invitation to go to Hollywood for the Red Carpet premiere of Thor: The Dark World the first thing that came to my mind was “I’ve got to find the perfect dress“. But finding the perfect dress isn’t as easy as it may sound. For two weeks I searched the mall, local bridal shops and even consignment stores but none of them had a dress that I thought was worthy of the red carpet.
With a little over two weeks to spare I turned to Simply Dresses who has some of the most beautiful dresses around. Whether your looking for long, short, lace, sequence or just a casual dress they have it all. The first time I found their site, I literally looked through hundreds of dresses and had such a hard time choosing one because I LOVED them all. After narrowing it down and then narrowing it down again I found the perfect dress. The Knee Length Bandage dress is a dark emerald green cocktail dress with lace embellishments.
I was a little worried about ordering a dress online because I didn’t know how well it would fit. I followed the instructions on the size chart and got my measurements and sent off my order. The dress was just a little bit long for me (I’m kinda short) so I took it to the seamstress who did a few quick alterations and the dress fit like a glove.
I felt like a million bucks walking that red carpet! I loved the color of the dress, the design and most of all how comfortable it was. My very good friend and fellow blogger Toni from A Daily Dose of Toni was also wearing a dress from Simply Dresses and she looked absolutely stunning.
