Having a girl at Christmas is so much fun! I mean, don’t get me wrong there are perks to having a boy too but it’s so much fun being able to sort of relive my childhood through her eyes. This year so many amazing toys came out and I’m so excited to be able to give a few of those to my kids. One company in particular that has definitely released a few toys that I know will be at the top of many young girls Christmas wish lists is Mattel. They recently released a few dolls including Fashionistas Barbie and DC Super Hero Girls that I loved so much I wanted to specifically include those in my 2016 Holiday Gift Guide.
We Love Fashionistas Barbie
Early this year I introduced you to Barbie Fashionistas. When we received them, my daughter went CRAZY for them. These adorable and unique Barbies come in all different shapes, sizes and colors. They help our kids to see that are differences are what makes us beautiful. If your kids love Barbie then I would really recommend the Fashionistas. DC Super Heroes Girls are The BEST!
I can’t tell you enough how much I love these DC Super Heroes girls. These dolls are so cute and I think girls are going to go crazy for them. There are 6 different dolls including Wonder Woman, SuperGirl, BatGirl, BumbleBee, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn. We received the DC super Hero girls Harley Quinn 12 action doll. She has the full super hero outfit on (all the dolls do) and has her trusty oversized Mallet and bag of tricks to fight the bad guys. You can learn more about the DC Super Hero Girls here.
