Exclusive Look at the new Maleficent Products from Disney

So. Have you seen Maleficent yet? I just watched it for the second time this weekend and I have to say that I think it’s even better the second time around. I did take my kids to see it with me and if your wondering is Maleficent ok for kids, be sure to check out my review post. Of course you know with such an amazing film they are going to have some AMAZING Maleficent Products and the creators at Disney did not disappoint.

During our time in LA a couple of weeks ago we were able to take a VIP tour of Disney’s Glendale Creative Campus. From the moment you get out of the bus and start walking up to the buildings you are pretty much in awe. I just can’t imagine how much fun it would be to go to work everyday in such a creative environment. During our tour we visited a variety of places but the real reason we were on campus was to check out the incredible new Maleficent products from Disney.

Walking into the “mock” Disney store and seeing all of these incredible Maleficent Toys and Maleficent clothes on display made me feel like a kid on Christmas morning. When it comes to this product line they have went above and beyond just your typical toys and costumes, they have included jewelry, shoes, books, CD’s and much more. Below are just a few of the items that I was able to bring home and let me tell you I had two VERY happy kiddos when they saw all these goodies.

While on the tour we got also got a chance to see how the costumes that you see in the Disney store are made. It’s quite a long process and pretty interesting. For instance the Aurora costume that you see pictured below took months to create. The designer visited the set to draw inspiration and then she went to work. It takes several trial and error before they finally create the beautiful Aurora costume just like in the movies.

This was truly a once in a lifetime experience to get to go behind the scenes of how some of these products are made.  I seriously could go on and on about all of the Maleficent products because there is just SO much awesome stuff to talk about! If I had to choose just one thing out of all of these products that is a must have item it’s the Maleficent Soundtrack which is simply incredible. We have been listening to it in the car for the past week and our family loves it.

Now after seeing some of the costumes that Disney has created I will tell you know that these are going to be THE costume this Halloween. Don’t wait until the fall I would get your Maleficent Costume now, while you can because chances are these will be sold out when October comes around.
