We have exactly one more week until school starts back up. I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t just a little bummed out about having to be back on a strict schedule. Summer’s around our home our laid back. We get up, have breakfast and are able to really enjoy one another without having to be somewhere at a certain time. For our first attempt at an Effortless meal we decided to pick up a lemon pepper rotisserie chicken. We grabbed a few sides from the deli, a loaf of fresh baked bread and a 2 Liter of Coca-Cola and I had dinner on the table with little effort at all. Instead of spending an hour in the kitchen I spent 10 minutes in Walmart and the remainder of my time enjoying dinner with my husband and kids.
In addition to the rotisserie chicken there are a few different options for effortless meals. For instance these Marketside sandwiches paired with a side of Kettle Brand Potato Chips and an ice cold Coca-Cola make a great dinner option for those who are on the go. This meal idea would be great for those nights when you have soccer practice or boy scouts and need to eat on the run. Did I mention how delicious these sandwiches are. They are freshly made each day and you can choose which topping you like the most. I went with the Turkey can Colby Cheese which I recommend.
