I may have mentioned it a time or two that I am a huge advocate for online shopping. With two kids, a busy schedule and a household to run I don’t always have the time to run around town searching for all the gifts on my list. Fortunately there are places online like eBay that make Holiday Shopping fun, convenient and stress free. I try to start my holiday shopping right after Halloween. I am constantly searching for the best deals online so that I am able to stretch my money as far as it can go. One of my biggest tips for Holiday Shopping is to never put it off until the last minute. If you do, chances are that most of the “hot toys” will be hard to find and if you do manage to get your hands on one your are going to overpay.
eBay is a great place to shop online because they have gifts for everyone on your list! They even make it easy to find gifts with their eBay Gift Guide that features the Top Holiday Toys from Toys R Us. Here is a list of some of the items that I have found on eBay that I would love to give my kids for Christmas this year.
1. Sportspower Trampoline with Enclosure-This is a gift that the whole family can enjoy throughout the year. Plus its a great way for my kids to be outside and active instead of in front of the TV.
2. LEGO Creator Winter Village Post Office-If you saw my son’s LEGO collection you would probably wonder why in the world I would wish for him to have more but honestly he plays for HOURS with these things and creates some of the most amazing things. I love this winter themed LEGO set and think it would be perfect under the tree.
3. Walking Dead Zombie Video Game-Ok this one is more for me than anyone. I love The Walking Dead Series on AMC and think it would be fun to get in on the zombie killing action. This is a game more for teens (or adults like me).
4. Nintendo 3DS Handheld Gaming System Flame Red-We have one of the original Nintendo DS Systems but my son has been begging to upgrade to the 3DS for the past year. This would be a great “big” gift idea.
5. Avigo 14 Inch Girls Bike-This bike is everything that I could have ever wanted when I was a little girl. I just know Aubrey would flip out to wake up with this under the Christmas Tree. My favorite part is the baby carrier on the back, which she could use to carry her babies all over the neighborhood.
6. Crayola Digital Light Designer-Boy Crayola sure has come a long way since I was a kid. They come out with some of the most creative things every year and this year is no exception. The Light Designer comes with a Stylus which kids use to make a design onto the globe that lights up. Both of my kids would love one of these for their rooms.
7. FurReal Friends Pony Baby-Ok I saw the commercial for this just a few days ago and about flipped out! It is so cute. My daughter is a freak when it comes to animals so she would love to have something like this. It’s on sale right now too!
8. XBOX 360 Holiday Bundle-A gift the whole family can enjoy. This holiday bundle comes with the console, kinect and two games.
9. The Trash Pack Race for the Trashies Board Game– We were introduced to the Trash Pack earlier this year and they are a huge hit with my kids. My son has a growing collection and I know he would love this game.
10.Magnificent Manicure Kit– My daughter LOVES to have her nails painted. This would be perfect for her.
If you’ve never tried it, I highly recommend online shopping. Sure it’s fun to go through the shopping malls and see the Christmas lights and festive music but when you have a busy schedule like I do, it’s not always the best option. eBay offers all of this years must have toys plus you can shop the Toys-R-Us store right in the comfort of you own home, even in your PJ’s. You get all of the same great toy selection and service that you would in the store, without actually having to be in the store. You can also take eBay with you anywhere you go with the eBay Mobile App. If your in the store and find an item you can check the price on the eBay app to compare prices.
So have you started your holiday shopping yet?
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of eBay. I received a product sample to thank me for taking the time to participate.
