There is nothing that I love more than to have a delicious meal around the dinner table with my family. It’s one of the highlights of my day. However, as much as a look forward to this special time, I don’t always look forward to the meal prepping that goes along with it. So I am always on the lookout for recipes that are easy and quick to make and that my family and I will love. One of my go to recipes for a quick weeknight meal is my Easy Marinated Shrimp and Pasta recipe.
Easy Marinated Shrimp & Pasta
I was inspired to make this dish from an easy marinated shrimp recipe that I found at Sam’s Club. Sam’s Club has always been a great place to find easy to prepare meals and seafood. In fact not only did I find the recipe at Sam’s Club, I also was able to pick up everything I needed to prepare my dish. You can find the Daily Chef ™ Cooked Medium Shrimp in the frozen foods section at Sam’s Club.
And you will find the Olive Garden Signature Italian Dressing with the condiments.
The easy marinated shrimp and pasta recipe is so easy to make and requires very few ingredients. But the best part is you can have this meal on the table in less than 30 minutes. For those of us who love to eat but don’t have the time to cook, this is perfect.
Shrimp Marinade
1 pound Daily Chef™ Cooked Medium Shrimp
¼ cup Olive Garden Signature Italian Dressing
(Cover and chill 4-24 hours)
Pasta Ingredients
1 package of spaghetti or other pasta
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup diced tomatoes
1/4 cup diced spinach
The first thing you you want to do is marinate your shrimp. This is as easy as placing your shrimp in a bowl, pouring the Olive Garden Signature Italian Dressing over the top and stirring it all up. Make sure you let this sit for at least 4 hours. You can do this the night before to give the shrimp more time to marinate.
Next you want to cook your pasta according to the directions. While the pasta is cooking your going to sauté that marinated shrimp. Add a few tablespoons of butter to a large pan and then add the shrimp.
Let the shrimp mixture cook for a about 2 minutes and then add the mushrooms, tomatoes and spinach. Stir all together and cook for about 5 more minutes.
Next drain the pasta and mix it into the shrimp. The best thing about this dish is you can serve it immediately or even serve it cold. It tastes great either way.
