Being a mom for the third time around definitely has it’s advantages. With my first baby it was pretty much a learn as you go game. By the time my 3rd baby got here I’d learned a lot of tricks that have helped make having a new baby a lot easier. One of the most challenging aspects of having a new baby is organization. There is SO much stuff when you have a new baby including all the bottles, pacifiers, breastfeeding equipment, etc. If you’re not careful, pretty soon your kitchen will look like a bottle factory. Thankfully there are a lot of easy ideas on how to organize baby bottles and clear up your counter space.
Easy Ideas on How To Organize Baby Bottles
The first thing you need to do is purchase a few items to help you organize. Some of my recommendations include plastic containers, baskets or stackable containers.
Next figure out an area where you want your bottles to go. For me, one of the best places that I have found to keep my bottles is in a over the door shoe holder.
I know it sounds weird, but TRUST ME, this is the perfect thing for storing lot’s of bottles and it takes up virtually no space. You can hang this on your pantry door and it will be out of the way.
You can also find plastic drawer sets that can be placed on your counters to store nipples, lids, and bottle parts.
Where to Find Bottle Organizing Gear
Target is a great place to get all of your baby gear. It’s also the #1 place for baby registries which is why I registered with them when I was pregnant. They give you a really cute gift for signing up too. One of the products that I have tried out for the first time is the Playtex Baby™ VentAire®. The VentAire is unique because it has an Anti-Colic Bottom Vent. This means fewer air bubbles by keeping the air at the back of the bottle. As your baby feeds, virtually no air mixes with the milk and gets into baby’s tummy. We all know what happens when babies get air in their tummies, and it’s not good.
The Angled Design of the VentAire also helps prevent ear infections because of it’s angle. And if you are breastfeeding this bottle makes it easy to switch between breast and bottle feeding because of the Most Like Mom® NaturaLatch® Nipple which mimics the breast.
