We live on a dead end street with only a handful of kids. Needless to say we don’t get many visits from the Ice Cream Truck. But with the summer heat in full force every once in awhile we all get a craving for an ice cream treat and those are the times we don’t have time to wait for the truck. So we pack into the car and head to our local Walgreens for an Ice Cream Run.
Walgreens in stocked full of some of the best ice cream treats around. Whether your craving something chocolate like a Klondike Bar or something sweet and fruity like Fruitare they have you covered.
We headed to Walgreens recently for an end of the summer Ice Cream Run. I let the kids pick out their favorites and then grabbed a few extra for my husband and I. Picking up our own ice cream is not only fun but with Walgreens prices we are usually able to pick out something for everyone.
Ice Cream is really one of those treats that you can never get too old for. I think this photo below, pretty much sums up what summer’s are all about.
I even caught these two sharing with each other which is unheard of! It’s amazing how a little ice cream can bring two siblings together.
