Last year I stumbled upon a movie you might have heard of, called Divergent. Well unlike most people, I had never read the Divergent book series, written by Veronica Roth, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect with the movies. And boy was I in for a treat! I absolutely LOVED Divergent. It’s one of those movies that has on the edge of your seat but wanting more. Well thankfully there is more! The Divergent Series: Insurgent which is the second movie in the Divergent Series released into theaters on March 20th. It’s been awhile since I have seen Divergent so I thought this would be the perfect time to re-watch it before seeing The Divergent Series: Insurgent.
Divergent Movie Night
Divergent including The Divergent Series: Insurgent is a great movie for the whole family. It’s a mind-bending action film that is filled with excitement and suspense. These films are not just for young adults. They are geared towards people of all ages, including kids and adults. One thing that I love about these movies, besides the amazing story line, is that they carry a great message. That it’s ok to be different and stand up for the truth. Plus I am really digging that the strong female lead that is so heroic. It sends a great message to young girls.
The movies have amazing visual effects so much so that it’s like you are looking at this “real” world on the big screen. Now that my family and I have rewatched Divergent we plan on seeing The Divergent Series: Insurgent this upcoming weekend and I can’t wait!
