Have your ever wondered what it would be like to sit down and have an old fashioned malt at a Soda Fountain? Well if your ever in the Hollywood area you will know have the chance. Located on Hollywood Blvd right next door to the El Capitan Theatre is Disney’s Soda Fountain and Studio Store.
Disney’s Soda Fountain offers all the goodies that you would expect at an old Fashioned Soda Fountain from the 50’s including malts, shakes, sundaes, ice cream cones and more. The Soda fountain offers an old time experience where you can order from the counter, full service tables or take your sweets to go.
Many famous celebrities have visited The Soda Fountain since it opened and you can see many of there pictures placed all over the walls. Below is a photo of Jeff Bridges from Disney’s Tron. How awesome would it be to work here!
After your done enjoying your ice cream you can check out the fun selection of Disney products in the studio store. Many of these items are some of the same that you would find at Disneyland or other Disney stores. You can even browse through the many old, new and Hard to Find Disney DVD’s.
Now everyone knows that after so long all Disney movies are tucked away in the Disney Vault where it waits to be released again someday. If your curious as to what this vault may look like, the below picture might give you an idea.
Since Disney’s Soda Fountain and Studio store is located next door the The El Capitan Theatre which is currently playing Iron Man 3, they have a huge selection of Iron Man 3 products to choose from.
