The Walt Disney Studios unveils an all‐new, original full‐length CG‐animated feature film, “Secret of the Wings,” starring Tinker Bell, one of Disney’s most beloved and iconic characters, along with her fairy friends (Fawn, Iridessa, Rosetta, Silvermist and Vidia) and introducing a sparkling new winter fairy, Periwinkle. Debuting on Blu‐ray™ Combo Pack, DVD and Digital on October 23, 2012, the film marks the first time ever Tinker Bell will fly on Disney Blu‐ray 3D.

For Tinker Bell and the other warm season fairies, the Winter Woods remains a mysterious and forbidden place. “Secret of the Wings” takes audiences on an amazing journey of discovery with Tink, into this forbidden world where she discovers a magical secret that changes her life forever. The movie features a fantastic cast of voice talent such as Angelica Huston, Timothy Dalton, Lucy Lui and Debbie Ryan. There is also a brand new fairy, Periwinkle who is voiced by Lucy Hale.

If you have ever seen any of the other Fairies movies you will know that Tinkerbell is quite the curious little fairy. In this movie, it’s no different but she comes across something or rather someone that she least expected. Even if you have never seen any of the other movies though, it’s easy to get right in with the characters. I love all of the Disney Fairies movies because they all incorporate a message like working together and be who you are, they are great story lines for kids. Both of my kids loved the movie and this one was probably Aubrey’s favorite Fairy movie so far. Disney’s Secret of the Wings will be available to purchase online or in stores starting October 23rd!
