This year marks the 60th anniversary of Disney’s Classic Adventure Peter Pan. Just in time for this celebration, Walt Disney studios will be releasing a new digitally restored Peter Pan with high definition and sound for the first time ever on Blu-ray. I can remember watching Peter Pan as a little girl and being mesmerized by The Lost Boys and Tinkerbell. Now I get to share this experience with my little girl. Tinkerbell is one of her favorite characters so it’s fun watching Aubrey see her favorite fairy in her first film.
The movie is the same as before but with so much added restoration. The colors and picture are beautiful and the sound is crisp and loud so that you hear detail of the music, etc. Peter Pan Diamond Edition Blu-ray Combo Pack includes a Blu-ray, DVD, Digital Copy and Bonus Story Book App. I also loved the bonus features which included the Disney short film “Growing Up with Old Men”. The bonus features also includes never before seen deleted scenes and a deleted song which were pretty neat to see and hear for the first time.
Disney’s Peter Pan Diamond Edition will be released in stores and online February 5th, 2013. This movie is only available in the Diamond Edition for a limited time so be sure to grab yourself a copy.
