If you have never seen a Disneynature film you are in for a treat! My family and I huge fans of Nature films and Disneynature goes above and beyond when it comes to not only telling the story of the animals but the pictures and film are absolutely stunning. We unfortunately didn’t get the chance to see Chimpanzee in theaters so I was very excited when I heard the release date for Chimpanzee and couldn’t wait to add the movie to our collection. This movie centers around Oscar and adorable baby chimp who suddenly becomes an orphan when his mom Isha dies. He struggles to survive until an older male chimp, Freddy takes Oscar under his “wing”. The movie is an incredible story that gives you an inside look at what life is really like for Chimps in the deep realms of the jungle. During the movie you will laugh, you will cry and you will be moved by this amazing story. This is a great film for family movie night!
