*Disney is covering my families hotel stay and park tickets during the ESPN Wide World of Sports Media Event as well as complimentary airfare for me. All opinions are 100% honest and my own.

ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex

As you probably already know from some of my previous posts, my family and I are HUGE Disney World fans. We have visited this magical place three times over the past few years and it seems like the more we go the more we want to go back. Our most recent trip was this past May where we were in the area for around 10 days. Every time we go to Disney it seems like I am always discovering something new that we hadn’t seen or done on our previous trips. In May as we were leaving the parks we drove right past Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and it immediately peeked my interest. I knew a little bit about the complex from my travel books but after seeing it in person I knew that I had to learn more.

Disney ESPN Wide World of Sports Media Event

On July 14th-July 17th I will be heading to Disney to experience elite youth sports competition and gather story ideas around the many “magical” differences that make the wide world of sports complex the happiest place on earth for athletes, parents and guests. My family is very involved in Sports so this is an very exciting event to be covering. My kids are still both pretty young but that hasn’t stopped them from both having an interest in sports. My son Jeremy has been involved in soccer and most recently my daughter Aubrey has joined a local softball team. She is just five years old but even at a young age I can tell that this is a sport she will most likely stick with through her childhood.

Be sure follow along during the event as I will be post lot’s of pictures and other exciting news while I am there. You can find me on Twitter @funsavingmoney and using the hashtag #DisneySportsEvent.

I would love to hear if you have ever been to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and what you thought?
