I first heard about the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Books when my son first started kindergarten. He had seen my niece reading the books and thought the pictures looked really funny so we decided to buy the first book. We now have all of the books in the series and Jeremy has read each book (BY HIMSELF!!!) at least twice. So of course when they made Diary of a Wimpy Kid into a movie we had to see it. I thought the movie was great and hilarious, it was something that our whole family could enjoy.

When I heard that they were making a second movie I knew the kids would be excited. Even though Aubrey is only 3 she asks to watch the first movie on DVD all the time and will sit and watch the entire movie, it’s actually pretty cute. Diary of a Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules will hit Theaters on March 25th and I have a feeling this movie is going to be even better than the first. If you have never seen the movies, even if you don’t have kids, I recommend them because it really takes you back to all of the akward moments in middle school.

Movie Synopsis:
In this sequel to 2010’s surprise hit, Greg Heffley, the kid who made “wimpy” cool is back in an all new family comedy based on the best selling follow-up novel by Jeff Kinley. As he begins 7th grade, Greg and his older brother-and chief tormenter-Rodrick must deal with their parents’ misguided attempts to have them bond.
