One of the biggest purchases you will make as a new mom is your babies crib. We started looking at cribs when I was only a few months along because I knew that it would be hard finding that perfect one. You see, we don’t have a whole lot of extra room in our house so having the right size of crib with all the options we wanted was important. Then one day while searching the internet I came across a few Crib & Changer combos and knew that these were the perfect option for our limited space. We could have the crib, changing table, dresser and a few shelves all in one and it wouldn’t take up a lot of room. So now that we knew which type of crib we wanted now came the fun part of picking out which one. Delta Children has such a great variety of cribs that it was hard to narrow down our favorites. The Bentley S Convertible Crib N Changer from Delta Children is gorgeous! Pictures really don’t do it justice, but I will try my best. The particular crib that I got is a black cherry/espresso but you can also get this crib in grey and white. What makes this crib stand out is that it’s a 4-in-1 crib that easily adapts into a toddler bed, daybed and full size bed. Attached to the crib is a changing table that sits above two drawers and open shelving. This changing table also includes a water-resistant pad with safety strap.
The Bentley S Convertible Crib N Changer is made from strong and quality wood. I was really surprised at how heavy and strong the wood was when my husband was putting the crib together. The drawers are also wood and are deep enough to fit quite a bit of stuff inside like clothing, diapers or even extra bedding. We used our drawers for sleepers and onesies because it’s easy access when we will be changing the baby on the changing table.
Putting The Crib Together
This is a big crib with a lot of different elements so I wasn’t surprised at how many pieces there were inside the box. However, I will say that Delta Children does a fantastic job of making the assembly process easy for anyone. All the pieces are marked and the instructions are very straight forward and helpful in putting this crib together right the first time. I would say that it probably took my husband around an hour to set the entire crib up.
The inside of the crib features an adjustable three-position mattress support so you can adjust the height as your baby grows. Since we our just starting out with a newborn we put the crib at the highest level possible.
With three different babies, this will be my third crib and I have to say that it’s by far my favorite. It’s sturdy, comfortable, adorable and most importantly it doesn’t take up a lot of space. Plus as my baby grows the crib will grow with him. Going from crib, to toddler bed and eventually a full size bed. It’s great knowing that I won’t have to buy a new bed every few years.
