Typically when you think of Vince Vaughn, thoughts of laughing until you fall over typically come to mind. He is hilarious and probably one of the funniest men in Hollywood. When he stars in a movie you can pretty much expect that the movie is going to be a hit. And that is certainly the case in his new film Delivery Man.
Vince Vaughn plays David Wozniak, and underachiever who’s life gets turned upside down when finds out that he is the biological father of 533 kids. You may be asking how this is possible? Well you know that saying where things you do in your past may come back to haunt you in the future, well that’s exactly what happens to David. When he was younger he donated to a fertility clinic and out of this came 533 kids who now want to know who their father is. Vince is hilarious in the movie but his role may surprise you too because it’s not only humor. There are a lot of emotions in this film and it will make you leave the theater with a warm fuzzy feeling.
Besides Vince, my favorite character of the film is Brett played by Chris Pratt. Brett is David’s BFF but also his lawyer and advisor who comes to David’s defense when things start to get crazy. He’s constantly giving David advice based on his own experience as a dad. Chris is HILARIOUS in the movie and my favorite scenes are the ones where he is surrounded by his own kids. You may not know this but Chris put on 70 pounds to play this role?! It was hard to believe because when we interviewed him he looked incredible and in great shape.
Not all of the movie is laughs though. There are some very touching moments throughout the movie and even ones that may leave you needing a tissue. I don’t want to give any spoilers away but I will tell you that this is a great movie for families. So after your done shopping for everything you need for Thanksgiving dinner this weekend, take a break and go see Delivery Man which opens in theaters every TODAY!
