There is nothing better than coming home after a long day and having a fantastic dinner ready to eat. Thanks to my crock pot I am able to do this with little to no effort required. Last week I had some cubed steak that I needed to cook so I decided to throw a few things into the crock pot all day and to my delight it turned out delicious.
Here is what you need:
-Family Pack of Cube Steaks-(About 5-7)
-1 Can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
-1 Can of Condensed French Onion Soup
-8 oz of Sliced Mushrooms
-1 Medium White Onion
-1 Clove of Garlic
-1 tsp of Salt
-1 tsp of Pepper
-1 Package of Brown Gravy Mix
-1 Can of water
1. Slice the Onion into rings. Place at the bottom of the crock pot. Add the minced garlic and mushrooms
2. Next season the Cubed Steak with the salt and pepper and place on top of the onions, mushrooms and garlic.
3. In a small bowl mix the cream of mushroom soup, french onion soup, 1 can of water and gravy mix together. Pour on top of the cubed steak.
4. Cook on High in the crock pot for about 6 hours or low for 8 hours.
The recipe is so easy and trust me when I say it is REALLY good! Serve with a side of Mashed potatoes or on top of egg noodles for a complete meal.
