A few weeks I started a new oral routine with my kids that included flossing our teeth twice a day. My kids have always been good about brushing their teeth but flossing was a different story. At first I was a little nervous that they would wine and complain but after showing them what to do and giving them fun new products to floss with, I was pleasantly surprised at how well they were doing!
I wasn’t surprised that my daughter’s favorite product was the Listerine Smart Rinse featuring Barbie. She loved everything about this rinse including the fact that it was bright pink. Having a fun product like the Smart Rinse really helps young kids get excited about taking care of their teeth. After Aubrey used her Smart Rinse in the morning and evening she would also follow that up by flossing her teeth with the LISTERINE floss.
My son also took to flossing very well. I honestly didn’t think he would like the taste of the LISTERINE Healthy White Rinse but he did. And he followed the same routine as my daughter by brushing, rinsing with LISTERINE and then flossing his teeth every morning and night.
I would say all in all we have really taken a step forward to having healthy and happy teeth. We are going to continue to use each of our LISTERINE products and maybe even try a few new types of mouth rinse.
