Traditions are something that I try my hardest to keep going each year. Kids grow up so fast and there is only a limited amount of time to really experience the magic of Christmas with your child. We have the normal holiday traditions that we do each year. For instance, we visit Santa Clause when he comes to our town and give him our Christmas wish lists.
We drive to a local church that hosts a HUGE Christmas lights display and walk through the display together as a family. Each of us with a hot cup of cocoa in hand.
These traditions are ones that we really look forward to each Christmas. But this year we have added something even better to our line-up of Christmas traditions with a few Northpole Products from Hallmark found at Walmart.
Walmart has a huge selection of Northpole by Hallmark products including the Northpole Communicator and Once Upon a Northpole Christmas Book. I had so much fun looking at all the different items but as soon as I spotted these two I knew they would bring a whole new level of Christmas magic for years to come.
My daughter is always super curious as to what goes on at the Northpole and what the elves are up too. When I told her that she would be able to communicate with a special elf or two she was beside herself with excitement. Now the Elves will only communicate beginning December 1st but Aubrey had her heart set on testing this fun new device out.
Even though it isn’t quite time for the elves to start communicating they did leave a fun message that told Aubrey to check back on December 1st. I am thinking she will be counting down the days until it’s time. Below is a short video of Aubrey trying to communicate with the Northpole.
Of course no Christmas tradition would be complete without a special story to read leading up to the big day. This year we will be adding a very special book called Once Upon A Northpole Christmas story book + Find me Santa Snowflake. This book is exclusively found at Walmart and tells the story of a Christmas that almost wasn’t.
The book also comes with a special light up ornament that helps Santa find his way to your house.
I am so excited about adding these new Christmas traditions to our family this year. Hopefully, one day, my kids will continue them with their children.
