I can remember going to my grandma’s house as a little girl and watching The Price is Right with her. It was the one show on TV that everyone in the family could sit down and enjoy. As I would sit there and watch Barb Barker and all the Price is Right Beauties I would just dream of what it would be like to have my named called to “Come On Down”! Now that the Price is Right Live is in Branson I might just get my chance.
Branson’s newest hit show The Price is Right Live made it’s debut in Branson in March of 2013! During the show Branson audiences can be a part of the live stage show and have a chance to win prizes like cash, appliances and even a new car, by playing the same games that made the television show such a success. During the show more than 50 audience members will have a chance to play.
The Price Is Right, Live! follows virtually the same format as the TV show: all audience members can pre-register to participate and are then called to, “Come on down!’. The contestant who wins the initial one-bid is then given a chance to win more prizes by playing one of the iconic and popular games such as Plinko, Cliffhanger, Punch-A-Bunch, The Big Wheel and the Showcase Showdown, to name just a few.
We had an amazing time at The Price Is Right and even though we weren’t eligible to play we still had fun watching all of the other audience members get their names called. The first woman that was called won $200 playing the punch game and she couldn’t have been happier! It was such a great show even if your not called there is plenty of fun being apart of the audience.
There are two different showtimes at 2Pm and 8Pm and all ages are encouraged to participate. This is a really fun show to see while in Branson and I will be back! Next time I hope to be able to “Come On Down”. For show times and ticket prices for The Price is Right Live you can visit http://welkresorts.com/branson-theatre/ or call 800-505-9355.
