Having kids spaced out in ages has really allowed me to see how much changes have been made to toys through the years. Kids these days have some pretty amazing toys that would have blown my mind when I was a kid. But the one thing I have noticed is that some of these toys allow kids to take their imaginations to the next level. Just the other day I caught my daughter playing outside where she had created her very own super hero dog clinic. The excitement and joy in her face was priceless and anything that I can do to add to that I will happily do.
We’ve been a big fan of WowWee since my son was around 5. I actually remember his first WowWee toy which was a cute little robot Raptor which he played with almost every day. Recently we were sent ChiP the interactive Robotic Dog and Coji from WowWee and my kids went CRAZY! These toys are unlike anything we’ve ever had here at home so you can imagine what type of excitement was in the atmosphere. Of course we always have a stockpile of Duracell Batteries because you never want to be in the middle of a fun game or playing session and your batteries run out. We usually pick up a few packages anytime we are at Toys”R”Us because it’s convenient to get the toys and batteries together.
Before we got started playing with CHiP and Coji we made sure that we put in a fresh batch of batteries in each of them. While CHiP himself doesn’t require actual batteries (he is rechargeable) his interactive ball does.
Both of my kids loved both Coji and CHiP. CHiP is just like a real dog (minus the messes). He will follow commands, do tricks and he even charges himself when his battery gets low. Coji is equally amazing. He actually teaches your kids basic coding so that there imaginations can fly.
Because CHiP and Coji are so amazing and it’s hard to relay that through pictures, my daughter Aubrey and I decided to make a short video showing you these two fun interactive robots in action.
You can pick up CHiP and Coji along with Duracell Batteries at Toys”R”Us. I honestly can’t think of a better combination to encourage Imaginative play than these three!
