I know that St. Patrick’s Day is already over, but that doesn’t mean you can’t start planning for next year! St. Patty’s Day just happens to be one of my favorite days of the year because what other day can you drink green beer and eat birthday cake (did I mention it’s also my birthday!) In honor of this festive Irish holiday Solo Cup sent me a few of their products to help celebrate and come up with some fun activities for this special day.
To celebrate this year we made homemade glow cups using green SOLO Cups, glow bracelets and tape. These were super easy to make and were so much fun to drink out of, for both kids and adults. The first thing you do is take the bracelets and activate them by following the instructions on the package. Next make them into a small circle and tape it together so that it will fit right into the bottom of the cup.
Place the clear Solo Cup inside of the solid colored Solo Cup and your ready to add your favorite drink. We had a blast with these cups and tried several different colors, of course my favorite was the green.
