This past weekend we had the chance to stay at The Welk Resort Hotel Branson in Branson, Missouri. This resort is beautiful and just recently went through a multi-million dollar hotel renovation this past June. It’s located within a short drive of all of Branson’s major attractions including Silver Dollar city, Dixie Stampede and Showboat Branson Belle. Also at the hotel are two popular shows: The Price is Right Live and Tony Orlando.
Our room included a king-sized bed and sofa mattress. First let me say that the bed is extremely comfortable. Every night as soon as I hit that mattress I was out like a light.
Beside the bed is a pretty large area with sofa mattress, coffee table and flat screen TV. Whenever we had some down time it was nice to have a place to relax and watch some TV. 
The bathroom in our room was huge and very clean. We had plenty of towels each day and if we ever needed more the hotel staff was more than happy to give us more. In addition to the bath towels, you are also provided beach towels to use at the pool.
Also at the Welk Resort is the Splash-A-Torium! Branson’s new indoor water attraction. It’s open year round and features an amazing 117-foot water slide. and over 10,000 square feet of fun. We had a chance to visit the water park a couple of times and it was amazing. I especially loved the two hot tubs.
There are two pools one outside and one inside but they actually connect together, so you can swim from the inside to the outside when the weather is permitting. Admission to the Splash-A-Torium is included in your hotel stay.
In the morning you can grab a bite to eat at Stage Door Restaurant. Breakfast is not included in your room stay but it’s very inexpensive, especially with everything that you get. The breakfast includes all you can eat eggs, bacon, pancakes, French toast, cereal, fruit, yogurt and more. We ended up eating breakfast here each morning and looked forward to it each day.

The Welk Resort Hotel Branson is a great place to stay! The staff is fantastic and very helpful with everything you need. From the moment you walk through the door till the time you leave they make you feel right at home.
