Branson, Missouri is one of those places that has just about everything you’re look for when it comes to a having a great vacation. Located within the beautiful Ozark mountains you will find a wide variety of wholesome family activities perfect for all ages. Branson is only a short drive from Oklahoma so my family and I try and make a visit at least once a year. In fact just a few years ago my husband and I decided to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary in Branson and it was perfect.
There is so much to do in Branson from live shows to theme parks and everything in between. It’s a place that really brings people together. This weekend my husband and I are spending 3 days in Branson and visiting some of our favorite places and also a few shows and activities that we haven’t done before. While we are town we are staying at the newly renovated Welk Resort Branson which features an indoor water park with a 117 foot water slide. I am really excited for this trip because I have never been to Missouri in September and I hear that the leaves are starting to turn and it’s beautiful.
