Branson has lot’s of fun things to do around town but one in particular that I recommend checking out is the Hollywood Wax Museum. The museum is so much fun for all ages and features celebrity wax figures from all different eras and genres of television. I’ve been to the Wax museum before so when I found out that we would be exploring the museum again as part of the Branson tour I was pretty excited.
When you first arrive at the Hollywood Wax Museum everyone in your group gets the chance to take a really fun photo in the hands of King Kong. After you go through the museum you will have a chance to look at your photo and purchase it if you choose too. But that isn’t the only photo opp you will get! Throughout the museum there are several places set up for you to have fun next to your favorite celebrity. You can sit next to Genie, lay on the bed next to Hugh Hefner or get beamed up with the Star Trek crew.
Most of the wax figures look just like the real thing. There were a couple of times (like with Jason) that I just knew it was a real person just waiting to go “Boo”.
Throughout the Hollywood Wax Museum you will enter different rooms all with a theme. My favorite part of the wax museum is the horror section where you will find all of the main characters from some of the scariest films. We had a great time going through the museum and taking pictures. Actually I think my husband and just a little more fun taking photos than me. Here are just a couple.
