Disclosure: Complimentary 2-day cruise provided by Royal Caribbean. All opinions expressed are my own.
This past weekend my husband and I were invited by Royal Caribbean, to spend two days aboard their newly renovated, Freedom Of The Seas ship. To say that this ship is amazing, would be an understatement. The Freedom Of The Seas has everything that you could possibly need to have a fun and memorable vacation.
Freedom Of The Seas Oceanview StateRoom
There are 1,891 total staterooms aboard the Freedom Of The Seas ship. Many of these staterooms have been enhanced like the large ocean view stateroom, which my husband and I had the pleasure of calling home for our trip. This stateroom has two twin beds which come together to make one full king. A large sofa with table and lot’s of extra’s like a TV, phone, safe and even a hairdryer.
Stateroom Bathroom
The bathroom is actually quite spacious for a cruise stateroom. There is enough room to move around, use the restroom and take a shower when you need too. I also love the fact that not only is the room super clean but the bathroom was as well.
Royal Caribbean Food
So those that have cruised before know that one of the perks of cruising is the food. You will never go hungry on a cruise ship, especially the Freedom Of The Seas ship. The food onboard the ship was incredible. From the Complimentary dining at Windjammer Cafe to the speciality dining at Sabor Modern Mexican. It was all fantastic. The ship has also added a few places to grab sweets like Ben & Jerry’s and The Cupcake Cupboard.
Drinks
There is nothing that I love more on while cruising, than to sit back on the deck, with a cool drink in my hand, while watching the blue ocean go by. While I didn’t have a whole lot of down time on the Freedom Of The Seas ship I did manage to grab a few drinks “for research purposes”. I highly recommend the Mudslide, which is pictured below. It’s like a milkshake for adults.
Fun Onboard The Cruise Ship
If you like to have a good time, then the Freedom of the Seas ship is for you. This ship is packed with fun and excitement nearly 24 hours a day. Whether your 2 or 102 this ship has something for you. Some of the activities that we enjoyed while on the ship were the casino, the live shows, the dancing, and pools, the flow rider, the rock wall and the ice-skating show. Yes I said Ice-Skating show! The Freedom of The Seas ship actually has an ice rink, with real ce-skaters, that perform live shows throughout the cruise. It’s really incredible the things that they can put onboard a ship. Royal Caribbean goes above and beyond to make sure all of it’s guests have a great time while cruising.
Royal Caribbean Shore Excursions
One of the best things about cruising is having the ability to see and do so many different things. When your ship ports for the day, this gives you a chance to get off the boat and have a little adventure. It’s tempting to try and save a little money by booking your own excursions while at the port, but I highly recommend against this. Your best bet would to be to pay a little more and book your excursion with Royal Caribbean. They take care of everything for you. All you have to do is just pay your money, show up where your suppose to be, and have fun. All of Royal Caribbean’s excursions are guaranteed. So you can feel at ease, knowing that Royal Caribbean only works with the best.
Book a Cruise on the Freedom Of The Seas Ship
So why should you book a cruise on the Freedom of The Seas? It’s simple. The ship has everything you need for the best vacation a person could ask for. Fun, Food, Adventure and plenty of time for relaxation.
