There is a long generation of beautiful women in my family. As a little girl I always looked up to these women and hoped that I could be as strong and confident as they all were. I learned a lot of beauty secrets from these special women when I was growing up. Many of these tip I still do today.

Beauty Secrets
Now that I have my own daughter, I find myself passing the beauty tips that I’ve learned on to her. She is still pretty little but whenever an opportunity arises to show her what my mom and grandma showed me, I take it. Just the other day, we were brushing our hair and I suddenly remembered something my grandma had told me when I was her age. She told me that when she was a young girl she would brush her hair 100 times every night. She said that this little beauty secret helped keep her hair thick and healthy. So of course as a girl I would brush my hair 100 times every night. And you know what? My hair was always thick and healthy. So I passed this little tidbit on to my daughter and now I have caught her counting to 100 as she brushes her hair.
