Beauty and the Beast was the one movie that I was super excited to see this year. Unfortunately I never got the chance to see it in theaters. When you have a 1 year old, going to the theater isn’t exactly an enjoyable experience. So I patiently waited for Beauty and the Beast to be released on DVD and finally got the chance to see it last week. Let me tell you folks, it was WELL WORTH THE WAIT!
Beauty and the Beast is AMAZING. The visual effects, the music, everything about it was spectacular. We watched it together as a family and even my husband, who isn’t really into the whole singing in movies, Loved it! The movie stays true to the classic animated version but there are a lot of differences too. I was pleasantly surprised to learn somewhat of a back story of Belle’s mom, even if it wasn’t what I had expected. Overall I give this movie 4 stars. It’s beautiful and such a great, classic disney movie.
