Have you heard those two dreaded words yet that is almost inevitable when you have kids home for the summer. You know the “I’m Bored” that comes almost as fast as school lets out. My kids started saying those words extra early this year and with the new baby home, I am just not able to take them to do things like I used to. So this year they are pretty much on their own when it comes to finding ways to entertain themselves. However there are some things that us parents can do to help them beat summer boredom.
How To Beat Summer Boredom
I have a few tricks up my sleeve on how to beat summer boredom and it’s called Hasbro Toys! You see Hasbro has some really fun toys for kids of all ages and provides hours upon hours of entertainment. They’re always releasing new toys and games especially to go along with popular movie releases such as Finding Dory. This summer we were sent a variety of toys and it’s been such a help in keeping my kiddo’s entertained and not saying those dreaded words.

Operation: Finding Dory Edition Game
We all know the beloved Operation game where you try and skillfully remove those tiny plastic bones without being buzzed. Well in the Operation Finding Dory edition you have Dory, Hank and their fish friends. Players will try and remove each fish with tweezers while trying not to set off the buzzer. This is a fun game that the whole family can enjoy or you kids can play by themselves.
Littlest Pet Shop Shuttle Vehicle
What little girl doesn’t love Littlest Pet Shop. I know my daughter sure does and she really loved playing with the LPS Shuttle Vehicle. This shuttle vehicle is a two story party bus with plenty of room to fit multiple pets on both levels. Kids can pretend that pets hop on and party under the disco ball. The shuttle includes Deco bits pieces and stickers which your child can use to decorate the bus anyway they like. Also included is a special edition dog pet.
Marvels’ Captain America: Civil War Captain America Blaster Reveal Shield
This shield is really super fun! We were sent two shields and my kids had so much fun battling each other. You can use the shield to fend off enemies or press the star button in the front and reveal a hidden blaster that launches NERF darts. So actually there are two ways to play with this shield.
My Little Pony Explore Equestria Row & Ride Swan Boat
I have to admit as a huge My Little Pony fan growing up, I was really excited about this new toy. It’s really cute and great for kids ages 3 and up. The My Little Pony Explore Equestria Row & Ride Swan Boat comes with a swan boat that is battery operated. It makes music as Pinkie Pie (also included) rows the boat. Pinkie Pies legs are poseable to that your child can fit them inside the boat. As they push the swan the oars will also move making it look as if Pinkie Pie is actually rowing the boat.
