Babies First Solid Food

Having a baby has been one of the most exciting times in my life. Seeing them grow and learn and experience all those “firsts”. For me this has been one of the best parts of motherhood. Recently my new son Caleb had one of his many “firsts” when he had his very first bowl of solid food. We knew from experience with my other two kids that his first food would be Gerber Cereal. And it was no surprise that he LOVED it! From the moment I put the spoon up to his little lips he was chowing down and wanting more. I will admit that I was a little worried about how he would react to eating his first solid food but you know he did great! We started off with a teaspoon of oatmeal and then have worked our way up. He looks forward to his morning bowl of Gerber Cereal.

Chances are you’ll know when it’s time for your babies first solid food. They will be around 6 months and will start showing an interest in everything you are eating. I just happened to capture a short video of Caleb trying Gerber Cereals. Like I said he LOVES his morning cereal and knows when I put him in his high chair that he is about to get fed. It’s actually pretty sweet.
