Last year my family and I got our first taste of American Girl. My daughter Aubrey received her very first American Girl Doll Grace Thomas and from that moment she was hooked. American Girl Dolls are more than just a doll, they are like a friend and are made with such love and detail that it’s no wonder they are so popular among young girls. This year we are adding to our growing American Girl doll collection with the 2016 American Girl Doll Lea Clark.

Meet American Girl Doll Lea Clark
Lea Clark is gorgeous and honestly seeing her in pictures does not do her justice. Like the other AG dolls, Lea is an 18inch doll with a soft huggable cloth body. He arms, legs and head are made of a smooth vinyl and easily move. She has hazel eyes that open and close and long light brown wavy hair with highlights.
I absolutely adore her Brazilian styled outfit! Right out of the box, Lea will be wearing a bright multicolored dress that comes with an attached belt that is braided.
She also has undies underneath her dress, which I think makes her more realistic to little girls. And of course she has some adorable accessories including her blue sandals with red and white crisscrossed laces and an embroidered canvas messenger bag with colorful straps that go with her dress. She also has a super cute compass necklace that completes her adventurous outfit. Like other American Girl dolls Lea Clark comes with her own book which gives a little bit of background of who she is and what she is into. I don’t want to spoil her story for you but I will tell you that she is going on an adventure of a lifetime in Brazil.
