My kids love to help me out in the kitchen and at least once a week we try and bake a special treat together. We have made some great memories (and treats) together over the past few years and I hope to continue this tradition until my kids are older.

We were recently sent the Curious Chef Measure and Prep Kit to review. One of my kids favorite things to make is Cookies and this kit was PERFECT! This set includes 6 piece measuring spoon set, 6 piece measuring cup set, poly spoon, 3 piece prep bowl set, and a kitchen timer. All of the Curious Chef products are made just for kids so they are the perfect size and completely safe!

 

The kids were so super excited to get to use their very own kitchen utensils or “dishes” as they liked to call them. The giggles and laughter in the kitchen were priceless! I really could not have imagined how excited these two would be to get to use kid size measuring spoons and cups.

I really liked the 3 piece prep bowl set! I was able to pour things like the chocolate chips and nuts into them and my little one Aubrey could easily pour these into the big mixing bowl.

 

The mixing spoon was just the right size for the kids. They were able to mix the cookie dough all by themselves and what a sense of accomplishment that was! All of the utensils were very high quality and you could tell that they will last a long time.

 

The Kitchen Timer had to be my son’s absolute favorite. He loved setting the timer and knowing when the cookies were ready! All night long he wanted to use the timer, he would ask me “mom, how long till bedtime” so that he could set the timer.

And here is the finished product! We had a great time making the cookies and I highly recommend setting aside time each month to make a special treat with your kids. The Curious Chef products were great and the kids loved the fact that these were products made just for them.
