What if I told you that there is a way that your kids can not only play with their favorite Transformers characters but that they can actually create them? Well that’s exactly what KRE-O has done with the KRE-O Transformers Construction Sets. We were sent a few of these sets and let me tell you folks, they are AWESOME, and that’s coming from me a thirty-one year old.
My son has always loved to build things and that’s one of the reasons I have always been a fan of KRE-O building sets. They are durable, fun, and have very competitive prices compared to other major brands. The new Transformers sets each come with fun Kreon figures that look just like little men. These Kreons figures will also include your favorite Autobot or Decepticon with each set.
The Destruction Site Devastator is one of the larger KRE-O Transformers Sets and probably my favorite. It comes with about 650 pieces to provide your child with hour of fun. Don’t worry though, KRE-O makes it easy with the blocks being separated with easy to follow instructions. This particular set is made for kids ages 8-14 and is the ultimate building set for advanced builders. With the Destruction Site Devastator kids can build 1 giant Decipticon robot Devastator, or 4 vehicles, or 4 construction robots. It also has 6 KREONS that include 4 construction workers, 1 construction Devastator and Ironhide. This set has nine different possible building scenarios and will keep your child occupied and entertained long after the presents are unwrapped. What’s great about the KRE-O Transformer sets is that you can build it one way and if you get bored or want to change it up, your child can take it apart and make something else all with the same blocks.
Another larger set, that is priced around $39.99, is the Battle for Energon. This set includes 379 pieces to build two of the most iconic Transformers of all time, Optimus Prime and Megatron. You can build both of these characters in either robot mode or vehicle and battle it out to see who prevails.
In addition to the large sets that are for more advanced builders there is also smaller sets for the beginners or smaller kids. A great set to begin with is either the Cycle Chase Set or the Deciptcon Ambush Set, both are great for kids ages 6 and up.
I am really impressed with the sets that we received and I also like that each of these sets will work with other building blocks from other major brands. This makes it easy for kids to add even more and help make their imaginations come to life. These Transformers Sets will make a fantastic gift for your child and the smaller sets are perfect for filling up those stockings.
