A couple of years ago I was introduced to Booing? Not the booing that people do when they are upset at something or don’t like what you are doing. But rather the fun booing that involves fun Halloween treats like candy and games. My family and I got so much of a kick out of being Boo’d that we knew this was a tradition that we would have to pass on to our family and friends.
You’ve Been Boo’d Ideas
Booing your friends, family or even neighbors doesn’t have to cost you a lot of time or money. You just need a few basic things to help you create a great Boo It Forward Kit. For example you will need a base for your Boo Kit. I suggest a plastic pumpkin. It’s cute, festive and cost around $1. Next add some candy! What is Halloween without lot’s of chocolate candy. Walmart has a great selection of candy including my favorite, Snickers.
After you’ve added candy try and add something fun that their whole family can enjoy together. Ghostbusters is now out of Blu-ray and DVD and would make the perfect addition to any Booing Kit. If you haven’t had a chance to see the movie it’s hilarious. The Blu-ray and DVD have a lot of extra features that you didn’t see in theaters.
Now you’ll need to add a fun sign that tells the recipient that they’ve been Boo’d and how they can Boo It Forward to keep this fun tradition going.
Put your pumpkin filled with goodies on the porch of the person you’ve chosen to receive it, ring the door bell and RUNNNN! Well really you don’t have to run but the whole point is to be anonymous. I promise it adds to the excitement and fun of this whole experience. And that’s how you Boo It Forward. I’d love to hear your experience on Booing. Have you ever been Boo’d? What kind of goodies did you get?
