I don’t know about you but I like to save all my special holiday baking and cooking for this week so everything is fresh and ready to go on the big day. This year I found a few EASY recipes from the Kraft food hub that I knew would be perfect for the holidays. One in particular that I thought would be a huge hit in my house was the Candy Cane Dessert Minis. These are honestly one of the simplest holiday desserts that I have ever made and they are so pretty. They would be perfect for those holiday parties or even as a special treat for your family. To make these delicious candy candy dessert minis, here’s what you need. Be sure to check HERE for coupons for big savings on a few of these products.

  • 1-1/2cups of boiling water
  • 1 pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O Raspberry Flavor Gelatin
  • 12 mini candy canes, crushed, divided
  • 1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping; thawed, divided

The first thing you want to do is boil your 1 1/2 cups of water. Once it’s boiling at that water to the JELL-O Raspberry Flavor Gelatin and crushed candy canes in a large mixing bowl. Mix these together well until the JELL-O Raspberry Flavor Gelatin and candy canes are completely dissolved. This should take you around 2 to 3 minutes.

After your JELL-O mixture is completely dissolved add all the COOL Whip minus 1/2 cup. (You’ll need this 1/2 cup for later). With a whisk, mix that together with the JELL-O until it’s completely blended.

Spoon the mixture into 12 2ounce shot glasses or other small decorative glasses you might have. Place these in the fridge for at least 2 hours or until the JELL-O is firm.

Last but not least once your ready to serve, top the JELL-O with the remaining COOL WHIP and a few crushed candy canes and serve immediately.
