From the moment I wake up, till the kids go to bed at night. My day is packed full. Between working full time at home and caring for my family, there really isn’t a lot of time to relax. So whenever I can catch 10 minutes here or 20 minutes there I take it! Those few minutes that I have I take full advantage of. I look at these minutes as ways to re-energize my day and get my head back into the game.
There are a few easy things that anyone can do to help them re-energize and make it through even the toughest of days. Here are my tips and hopefully these can help you too.
5 Ways to Re-Energize your day
1. Log off of all social media for at least 20 minutes. It’s so easy to get bogged down with negativity on social media. In fact log off your computer and phone completely. Take this time to clear your mind. It’s amazing what a 20 minute social media break can do for you!
2. Talk a brisk walk, preferably outside in the fresh air and sunshine. This will not only get your blood pumping through your body, but it will give your body much needed vitamin D from the sun.
3. Crank up the radio and listen to your favorite music. Music is such a powerful tool and can quickly turn a bad mood into a good one.
4. Drink a big glass of ice water. Believe it or not you can be tired and sluggish due to not having enough water on board. Drink a big glass and chances are you’ll see a big difference.
