As a big football fan I couldn’t be more excited as the Big Game draws near. We try and go all out for game day around our home with decorations, party favors and of course food. Game day wouldn’t be the same without a delicious assortment of goodies to choose from. We recently stocked up on food for our next game day. Since this is a extra special occasion I wanted to come up with some great game day recipes for my guests. Lasagna is a great choice because it’s easy and can feed a large crowd. But for this game day instead of eating Lasagna the “normal” way we decided to make Lasagna Sliders for everyone to enjoy.

Lasagna sliders are SUPER easy to make and only require a few extra steps when it comes to preparation. These were a huge hit with our family the first time we made them. They are easy to make and easy to eat.

Here’s what you need to make Lasagna Sliders:

  • STOUFFER’S® Party Size Lasagna with Meat & Sauce, 90 oz
  • Package of Garlic Texas Toast

Cook the STOUFFER’S® Lasagna according to the directions on the box. It normally takes around 2 hours to cook the lasagna if it’s frozen, so allow yourself plenty of time to cook it.

Once the lasagna is fully cooked take it out of the oven and set it aside. Next cook the garlic bread according to the directions on the box. Once it’s cooked take it out of the oven and cut the toast into circles using a cookie cutter. Place lasagna inside two pieces of garlic toast and you will officially have Lasagna Sliders for your game day party.

Game Day Dessert Ideas

Once you’re done with the Lasagna sliders, make sure you leave a little room for dessert. I recommend setting up a ice cream sundae bar using the Limited Edition Edy’s/Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream touchdown sundae. The ice-cream all by itself is wonderful but if you really want to make it a dessert to remember, try adding some toppings like the New ButterFinger® Peanut Butter Cups Minis. These new ButterFinger® Peanut Butter Cups Minis have the perfect combination of creamy milk chocolate, smooth peanut butter and BUTTERFINGER.

You can pick up all of these items at your local Walmart. The STOUFFER’S® Lasagna with Meat & Sauce and limited Edition Edy’s/Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream touchdown sundae are both located in the frozen food section.
