We are a family that loves to be outdoors as much as possible so I try and look for toys that we can keep outside to keep our kids entertained all year long. Step2 is one company that I know I can always look to for the most amazing indoor and outdoor toys. Last week we were sent one of the most exciting outdoor toys, The Extreme Coaster.

The extreme coaster is the perfect toy for all those thrill seeking kids out there. Step2 has redesigned the classic up and down roller coaster to bring roller coaster fun to a wider age range. Made in the USA, the Extreme Coaster features rugged-double wall construction and wide built steps for stability.

Features:
-Extreme colors and styling
-Easy entry car allows for balanced mounting and riding
-Smooth transition track simulates a real roller coaster hill
-Weight limit 75 lbs
-Minimal adult assembly required

My kids had no clue that the Extreme Coaster was coming so when three huge boxes arrived at our front door both Aubrey and Jeremy were “extremely” excited!

Here is a picture of all of the pieces straight out of the box ready to be assembled. They are easy to follow instructions included in the box as well.

My husband and I worked together to put the Extreme Coaster together and it took us about 30 minutes to fully assembly it. This could easily be put together by one person but it was very helpful and alot faster to have two sets of hands.

My kids both stayed outside the entire time we were putting the coaster up. They couldn’t wait to ride it and I overheard my son Jeremy telling my daughter that they are the luckiest kids on the block because they have their own roller coaster! We decided to set it up in the driveway at first to see how it worked. After a few days we moved the extreme coaster in the backyard so the kids could go outside and play on it whenever they want to.

When we got the coaster up and ready we let my seven year old son go first. He had no hesitation and got right on. I couldn’t believe how fast this thing goes, it looks so fun! Next it was my 3 year old Aubrey’s turn. I was afraid she might be a little nervous but she walked right up the stairs and before I could count to three she was already at the bottom.
In the excitement of everything we let the kids go down a few times without thinking about their helmets but with the coaster on the pavement and it going as fast as it does, we felt alot more comfortable with their helmets on. I really feel like this is an extrememly safe toy but when the coaster is on the driveway they have to put on helmets.

Here is a short video of my son Jeremy going down the Extreme Coaster. You can hear in his voice how much fun he is having.

My family and I are very impressed with the Step2 Extreme Coaster. We have had it for about a week now and everyday after school, the very first thing my kids want to do is ride on it. It has already provided hours of fun and now that the weather is starting to cool down this is a great activity to keep them having fun and staying active. I highly recommend this for anyone with kids.

Be sure to visit Step2 to find more incredible products to keep your kids entertained all year long. Remember it’s never to early to start your Christmas shopping.
Buy It: You can purchase the Step2 Extreme Coaster for $249.99!
