Yesterday I sat down and looked at my calendar for the month of December. I was a little overwhelmed with the fact that I have 5 different holiday parties within two weeks. Now don’t get me wrong. I live for the holidays, and love celebrating this wonderful time of the year with my friends and family. What I don’t like, is having to spend so much time in the kitchen trying to come up with authentic recipes. Luckily there are short-cuts and ways that I can serve my guests delicious restaurant inspired foods that are ready in minutes, without compromising quality and flavor.
Tai Pei Egg Rolls and Spring Rolls are the perfect option to help make entertaining easier and faster. Tai Pei combines authentic Asian-style cuisine with exciting, traditional flavor varieties that are ready to eat in just minutes. These Egg Rolls and Spring Rolls have a delicious crispy wrapper on the outside with fresh cut veggies and filling proteins inside such as chicken, pork or shrimp. They even come with their own delicious dipping sauce.
Tai Pei can be easily found in the frozen foods section at your local Walmart. There are several varieties to chose from. But honestly I think they will all make a delicious addition to your holiday party this Christmas.
Now I could just serve the Tai Pei Egg Rolls and Springs rolls normally at my party. However, this is Christmas and it just wouldn’t be right to not jazz up the food with a little festive touch. So I created this cute and easy recipe for Reindeer Egg Rolls. It only requires a few extra ingredients and a couple extra minutes of prep time. I assure you they will be the talk of the party. Here’s what you need for the Reindeer Egg Rolls:
- 1 Box of Tai Pei Egg Rolls (Any Variety)
- Mini Pretzels
- Black Olives
- Sliced Pimento
- Toothpicks, cut in half
- Bake the Egg Rolls According to the Directions on the Box. Let Cool.
- Next two small strips on the top of the egg roll about 1/2 inch apart. Stick the pretzels inside, making the reindeers ears.
- Slice the tip of the olive off and insert it into the front of the egg roll with a toothpick. Do the same thing again right next to it. This will be the eyes.
- Now take a piece of the pimento and secure it under the eyes with a tooth pick.
Now you have your reindeer egg rolls. What do you like to serve your guests during the holidays?
