It’s been a dream of mine to visit Universal Orlando during the Halloween season. You may be asking yourself “Why during Halloween”? Well the answer is simple. Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando.
With the help of my awesome friend Toni Patton from JustStopScreaming.com, together we have put together an amazing event that will feature 10 bloggers and their guest who will be Facing Fears Together. The event, presented by Two Traveling Moms and Universal Orlando, be held from October 1st through the 4th.
What can us crazy fear-seeking bloggers expect at Halloween Horror Nights 24, well I’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves.
Halloween Horror Nights will run on select dates, from now through November 1st and includes eight fully-immersive, startlingly-real haunted houses, two live shows and scare zones filled with hundreds of horrifying “scareactors.” Experiences are inspired by:
- John Carpenter’s classic horror film, “Halloween”
- AMC’s hit series, “The Walking Dead”
- The cult sci-fi franchise “AVP: Alien vs. Predator”
- Robert Rodriguez’s chilling television series “From Dusk Till Dawn”
- Universal Picture’s upcoming film “Dracula: Untold”
- Universal Picture’s “The Purge: Anarchy”
- SyFy’s “Face Off – In the Flesh”
So I am going to be honest with you, I am scared out of my mind! When I heard that Halloween would be one of the main “scary houses” at Halloween Horror Nights I got goosebumps all over me.
But wait there is MORE to the event and it’s not all scary! We will be staying at the beautiful Cabana Bay Beach Resort for three nights. This hotel is one of the newest resorts on the Universal Orlando property so I am thrilled to be able to explore it.
We will also be checking out Universal’s CityWalk, and getting a VIP behind the scenes tour of both Universal Studios Orlando and Islands of Adventure. That means I will finally get a chance to see the new Diagon Alley!
I hope you will follow along with us next week as we Face Our Fears Together! You can find us on Twitter, Facebook and Twitter using the #FacingFearsTogether hashtag.
