When I asked my son what his favorite holiday was he told me that he actually had two, Christmas and Valentine’s Day. I was really surprised to hear him say Valentine’s Day so I asked him why he liked this holiday so much and he told me he loved giving all the girls a Valentine’s Day card. I giggled a little to myself because I just thought that was really cute for a first grader.
Since this is one of Jeremy’s favorite holidays I wanted to make sure that I got him Valentine’s Day cards that were not only really cool but that I knew that there weren’t going to be 3 other kids in the class with the same cards. Peaceable Kingdom Press has got some amazing and really unique Valentine’s Day cards that are perfect for everyone. I asked Jeremy to look over their site with me and choose which one was his favorite. He took him all of 5 seconds to see the Valentine’s Day Scratch Off Fortune Cards and know that these were the perfect cards.
These are probably the neatest Valentine Cards I have seen. Jeremy is so excited to pass these out to all of his classmates so they can see what there “fortune” is going to be.
Each box comes with 20 cards and 20 envelopes. There are 4 different colors to the cards, 5 are blue, 5 are green, 5 are red and 5 are orange. Depending on the color of the card the globe on top will say Your Fortune or Prediction.
The scratch off part of the card is shaped like a heart. Its really easy to scratch off to read your fortune. The one below reads: there will be yummy delicious candy in your future.
One the back of the card is a place where you can write in who the card is to and who it is from and it also says Happy Valentine’s Day. These cards are large enough that you could easily attach a piece of candy if you wanted to.
I am extremely happy with these cards and so is Jeremy. I love the fact that Jeremy will be able to carry all of his Valentine’s in the box because it has a handle on top and the box closes and is secured with a piece of velcro. This is going to be a Valentine’s Day Jeremy will never forget and I can’t wait to be there and see the kids faces when they each get to read their fortunes.
