It seems like Santa Claus is everywhere this year! I wanted to take the kids somewhere that was magical and somewhere they would remember forever. I had heard so many great things about the Bass Pro Shop around Christmas time, so this year my husband and I loaded the kids up and headed out to Santa’s Wonderland.
Bass Pro Shop is so big that we couldn’t find the winter wonderland at first because it was tucked into the back of the store. After I found someone to point us in the right direction it was pretty easy to spot with all of the really festive decorations.
The kids spotted Santa right away. We must have hit it just right because we got right at the front of the line. Aubrey had been talking about Santa for a good two weeks now and she was really excited when we told her where we were going. That all changed once we hit Santa’s lap, she suddenly become speechless! It was really cute and I am thankful she wasn’t too scared. Jeremy was a little nervous but had no problem telling Santa what he wanted for Christmas.
Santa was super nice and gave both kids a candy cane. Bass Pro Shop also gave me a free 5×7 photo of both kids with Santa. There was no pressure to buy anything, they gave me the picture and wished our family a merry Christmas.
Santa’s Work Shop was really incredible. The house that he sat in front of was had little animated elves sitting in front of it and there were also real reindeer (there were being very still for Santa).
There were lot’s of free activities to enjoy after your done seeing Santa. Both of the kids loved shooting the “pretend” BB’s at the shooting range and Jeremy really liked shooting the Bow and Arrow Nerf Gun.
While Jeremy and his dad were busy racing their cars on the free race-track Aubrey and I decided we would write Santa a letter at the Crafts center.
After Aubrey was finished writing her letter and coloring Santa a picture, there was even a mailbox for you to put your letters in so that Santa will be able to read them.
We all had a blast and this will now be a yearly tradition for our family! It was a real treat for the kids to get to enjoy all of the free activities and it’s open to everyone.
If your looking for a fun and magical place to visit Santa then you have to check out Santa’s Wonderland at the Bass Pro Shop. It’s running from now until December 24th. You can get more information HERE.
This was not a sponsored post. I wrote this post on my own to let everyone know about all of the free events available at Bass Pro Shop.
