Every year, my husband and I tackle the Spring Cleaning together. He mostly takes care of the outside while I make sure that the inside is spic and span. This year Spring cleaning has taken on a whole new meaning because we will be welcoming a new addition to our home in just a few weeks. Our baby boy, Caleb is due at the beginning of April and we are working hard to make sure that our home is the cleanest it can be before he gets here.
Spring cleaning is more than just picking up your house. It’s the time to open up the windows, dust off all the blinds, clean the windows and tackle those extra tough jobs that are often overlooked. Planning ahead before you start your spring cleaning is key in tackling the house and making sure you have all the right products on hand before you start is very important. I’ve come up with a few easy tips to help make spring cleaning easier which includes what kinds of products I think is best to have on hand before you get started.
5 Tips To Make Spring Cleaning Easier
Tip #1
To help ensure that we have all the supplies needed for your deep cleaning adventure head to Walmart. They have a wide variety of spring cleaning essentials including Viva®, Cottonelle® and Scott® 1000 products. Walmart is a one-stop shop for all your cleaning and organizational needs. Being able to shop at one store makes things a lot easier. Plus at Walmart chances are you will find some great deals on your favorite spring clean essentials such as Viva®, Cottonelle® and Scott® 1000 products.
Tip #2
Tackle one room at a time. If you do more than one thing at at time, this can be very overwhelming. I start with the larger rooms first like the living room and kitchen then work my way through to the bathrooms and bedrooms. Don’t stress if you don’t get everything done all in one day. Remember spring cleaning is a lot of work so space things out if you need to. Remember also to have all your cleaning supplies and Viva® which help clean more than just spills so you can unleash clean in your home. Viva® offers a choice of two types of everyday towels that work like cloth to stand up to any cleaning job.
Tip #3
Spring cleaning is a great time to go through all of your closets and drawers and get rid of things you don’t use or need anymore. This will make room for the essentials that you do need. After you are done cleaning the bathroom and kitchen be sure to stock up on essentials such as Viva® Big Roll Paper Towels, Cottonelle® Toilet Paper Double Rolls and Scott® 1000 Bathroom Tissue. Make sure they are easily accessible even for the little ones, so they can replace them without having to ask you where they are. Plus having the right kind of toilet paper such as Cottonelle® which has CleanRipple texture will help keep your families bum nice and clean too!
Tip #4
Clean the inside and outside of your windows with Viva® Towels. They are strong and durable like cloth and have a scrubby texture like terry cloth which is great for making glass shine. These Viva® Towels are also great for washing dishes, cleaning baseboards, dusting furniture and cleaning off appliances. And since they are disposable, that means less laundry for you!
Tip #5
Open all your windows and air out your home as you clean. This will allow fresh air to circulate through your home and add some brightness as well.
