I have met many celebrities over the past few years but there was one in particular that had to be one of my favorites. A couple of weeks ago 24 other bloggers and I had the chance to sit down with Fergie (yes FERGIE) and talk about life, marriage, kids and the American Music Awards.
Fergie is a huge star and has been in the business since she first appeared on Kids Incorporated back in the 80’s. I loved that show! She continued her career as one of the members of the very successful group The Blackeyed Peas before trying her hand at a solo career which took off immediately. She is an amazing singer and after meeting her in person I can honestly say she is super sweet too.
When Fergie first walked into the room she was wearing a tight black dress, heels and had her hair long and straight. She was full of energy and really excited to talk with us and let us know that she would be performing her new hit single LA Love at the American Music Awards on Sunday November 23rd at 8:00pm ET on ABC. Of course I always watch the AMA’s but I am even more excited about the show now that Fergie will be one of the performers. She took a little time off after she had her son Axl over a year ago and has been taking this time to focus her attention on being a mom and a wife. One of the big questions that most of us were curious to know was “How does She manage it all”. Being a wife, mom and career women is hard enough but add in traveling, fame, and everything else that comes along with being one of music’s top stars has got to be tough. Fergie says that balancing it all is “A Work in Progress”. She is big into scheduling things so she makes sure so has time for her son, her husband and herself. Meeting Fergie was really such a fun experience and she is one awesome lady. Be sure to watch her performance on Sunday, it’s going to be amazing.
So who else will be performing at the AMA’s this Sunday? I’m glad you asked because it’s one amazing line-up with Lorde and One Direction also performing. There is also lot’s of awards that are going to be handed out throughout the night and YOU have the chance to pick your favorites.

From now through 11/23 fans can vote once per day at the Coca-Cola AMA voting site, AMAvote.com, as well as once per day via Twitter by including the nominee’s name, category name and #AMAs within a tweet. Voting for New Artist of the Year Presented by Kohl’s will open on 11/1 and will remain open throughout the first hour of the ABC live broadcast on 11/23, with the winner being announced in the final hour. Fans can vote via AMAVote.com and Twitter.
