I have always been one of those people who LOVE to travel and one of my favorite things to do when I travel is fly. The downside of flying is having to wait to board the airplane. There have been many times where I am stuck sitting in the terminal for 2+ hours waiting for my plane to take off. I normally travel with my laptop and iPad but unfortunately neither of these devices can work with out a wireless internet connection. Now I know that most airports offer WiFi, but if you travel a lot you probably know this comes with a hefty fee. Fortunately I have found a solution to this inconvenience with the Mobile Hotspot Feature on my Droid Incredible 4G LTE phone by HTC.
The Mobile Hotspot feature is fantastic for not only the airport but also when I am out and about running errands, picking my kids up for school in the dreaded car line, and even outside. My kids love being able to watch netflix on my iPad in the backseat while we are driving around town. This also saves my sanity by keeping them busy and not arguing the whole car ride. It has the cabability to support up to 10 different devices so everyone can have wifi!
The mobile hotspot really saved me this past month though, because my internet connection for my home has been cutting in and out for the past 2 months. I finally got around to calling my provider to come and inspect the problem but in the meantime I had several blog deadlines to meet. This would have never been possible without the mobile hotspot from Verizon! Instead of having to drive to a wifi connected coffee house or restaurant to write my posts, I was able to turn on the hotspot and complete my work right from home.
Mobile Hotspot is just one of the many features of the Droid Incredible that I love. I honestly don’t know how or if I can ever go back.
I am very excited to announce that Verizon Wireless just launched a cool new app that I had to tell you about! The free “Safely Go” safe driving app can be set to answer your calls and texts while you are behind the wheel, so you can keep your eyes where they should be-on the road.
