It’s no secret that I love to travel. Travel has become a passion for me and it’s something that is always on my mind. I am always mapping out destinations in my head that I want to visit with family and making a bucket list of must see places. Life is too short to sit around, so I have made it my personal mission to see and experience all that I can while I am here on this Earth.
This past week, I had a extra special surprise arrive on my doorstep. When I opened the box to reveal a shiny metal Alamo branded Lunchbox I was immediately intrigued on what was inside. As I opened up the box up I felt like a little kid on Christmas morning seeing everything I had asked for on my wish list.
Receiving this fun Alamo Drive Happy Box has inspired me to start planning a little different kind of trip this year. A Road trip! We have taken several smaller road trips over the past few years but now that my kids are older I want to take a real road trip. The kind where you stop at all of the cheesy road-side attractions, eat at truck stops and play slug-bug while singing your favorite songs at the top of your lungs. There is something about being on the road together for hours and hours that tend to bring families together. It’s easy to hop on a plane and get to your favorite destination in a fraction of the time, but then you will be missing out on all the fun of the road.
I haven’t quite figured out everywhere that I want to see but some of the places we are definitely planning on visiting very soon include:
The Arkansas Diamond Mine
The Redwood Forest
Grand Canyon National Park
Zion National Park
The Smithsonian Institution
I could literally go on and on with places we want to visit be those are probably the top five. I am excited to use some of my new travel gear that Alamo and one of the Alamo Chief Travel Moms, Jenn from The Rebel Chick, sent me to help make our next road trip the best one yet.
I would also recommend that before your next vacation be sure to check out the Alamo website for great travel deals and the Alamo Facebook Page too!
Where would you love to plan a road trip too?
