A few years ago I saw my first Disneynature film and that was it. I was hooked. The Disneynature films are unlike any other nature films out there. And they give you an in depth look into this never seen before interaction with animals. If you’ve never seen a Disneynature film before, then there has never been a better time than now. Because on April 17th, Monkey Kingdom will swing into theaters.
Monkey Kingdom Event
Being the Disneynature fan that I am, I was so excited when I got the email inviting me to Orlando to immerse myself in all things Monkey Kingdom during the Monkey Kingdom Event. Of course, I said yes and I am SO glad I did. For 6 days and 5 nights, I will have the opportunity to see Monkey Kingdom before it hits theaters. Don’t worry! I will be giving you guys the inside scoop as soon as a see it. We will also get the chance to interview Disneynature Ambassador Dr. M Sanjayan, so if you would like for me to ask him a question for you, leave me a comment below and I will do my best.
Back stage at Disney’s ANIMAL KINGDOM
Since this trip is all about Monkeys it’s only right that we get an inside look at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which is home to not only monkeys but thousands of other beautiful animals. Our group will be going backstage at Disney’s Animal Kingdom to learn how Disney Cast Members tend to the 1,500-plus inhabitants who live there. After that we will be Going on a Wilderness Exploration where we will jaunt across jungles, furrow into forests and make our way through the woods while we set out on a series of fact-finding challenges.
Wild African Trek
I have always wanted to go on an Africa. But I think the Wild African Trek is close enough. The Wild African Trek is a privately guided VIP expedition offering close encounters with exotic African wildlife in their native habitat.
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival
I have been to Disney World many times, but never without kids. As much as I will miss my kids I am looking forward to visiting the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. This is something I have always wanted to do, and without kids, I will be able to really take it all in. Don’t worry, there will be lot’s of pictures to come.
Free Time at Walt Disney World
As busy as we will be, you can’t go to Disney World and not visit all of the parks. So during our 6 day Orlando adventure we will have a few days to have free Disney World time. I’m not even sure where to start with this free time. There is so much to see and do at Disney. Any suggestions?
All Star Vacation Homes
During our 6 day adventure our group will be staying with All Stars Vacation Homes. These homes are just incredible and since they are only a few minutes away from the Disney parks, makes them even better. Our house is huge with 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a pool and hot tub and so much more. It’s the perfect place to kick back and relax after a long day at the parks.
These are just a few of the fun things we will be doing during the Monkey Kingdom Event. I would love for you to follow along next week starting on Tuesday April 14th, and join in the adventure.
