I visited the Nestlé headquarters in Cleveland in April on behalf of Mom Luck, and while I can’t share all of the top secret stuff I learned just yet, I had to tell you all about my fun-filled day there!
We started out with a special welcome dinner at Restaurante Chinato, a swanky downtown hot spot.
We dined on a Hot Pockets-themed menu designed especially for us while getting to know Chef Lucien of the Nestlé Corporation.
When we arrived at the Nestlé offices on Friday morning, we were presented with an incredible spread for breakfast: everything was made by the Nestlé kitchens right there in the office. I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t mind having a staff of professional chefs in my office…
From maple glazed bacon to apple crisp, we couldn’t have found a better breakfast if we had gone to a restaurant!
I was so jealous of the candy-filled reception area…
But even more jealous of the Willy Wonka vending machine in the employee break room.
I really need to rethink my home office! There’s a serious lack of candy.
We were able to take our photo with Chef Lucien before we began making lunch. That’s right – we made our own lunch right there in the Nestlé kitchen!
I have to say that the most exciting part of the day was making our own Hot Pockets for lunch – with a bevy of fresh ingredients to choose from and Nestlé chefs leading the way, our results were amazing!
Stay tuned in the coming months as I share some of the new and improved Nestlé Hot Pockets coming to stores near you and a little more about all that we learned when we visited the Hot Pockets kitchens!
