Smartfish ErgoMotion Laser Mouse Review and Giveaway!

Being a blogger I spend a fair amount of time on the computer. Over the past few months I have noticed that my wrists and hands have begun to get sore especially if I spend an overextended amount of time on the computer. I try to stretch and move my hands around and although this seems to help some, I am in need of something that helps prevent strain on my hands.

The Smartfish Ergomotion Laser Mouse uses a patented pivot base that allows the mouse to move with the natural hand and wrist movements. This allows the mouse to adapt to the unique movements of the person using the mouse.

We were sent the ErgoMotion Laser Mouse.

When I first saw the mouse it looked similar to my current mouse that actually came with the computer. Once I got it out of the package I could definitely see the difference of the two mouses.

Setup was EXTREMELY easy! I am not a tech savvy person by any means but all that was required to get this mouse up and running was batteries and plugging the micro USB into the USB port on my computer. The batteries are included with the mouse and go right into the bottom of the mouse. There is also an on/off button on the bottom and if turned off when not in use these batteries should last you 10 months.

The micro USB can be placed into the bottom of the mouse for easy storage and for traveling. That is one of the best things about this mouse, you can use it on any computer.

The mouse moves up and down and pivots to the movements of my hands and honestly even after using the mouse for a few days I can see a major difference in my hands not cramping up. I will say that the mouse is super sensitive and doesn’t require much movement at all.

I am in love with my new mouse and I can’t believe I hadn’t gone wireless before! If you have a loved one or just someone on your holiday shopping list who spends any amount of time on the computer then the ErgoMotion Laser Mouse is the perfect gift.

This product would be perfect for me since it is on a pivot and would move to my natural hand an wrist movements. I had swollen fingers for six months because of strain on my wrist from a mouse that was a clunker. This would be a blessing!

  6. Chip says

They also make the world’s first intelligent keyboard that prevents Repetitive Stress Injury. I would also love that!!! I could definitely start with the mouse first. I have two computers and one mouse.

ErgoMotion™ is built on the concept that movement is the key to healthier computing. The medical community has long supported movement to be beneficial to the human body, which promotes blood flow and decreases inflammation—inadequate blood circulation and inflammation are both considered key contributors to RSI. Thanks.

I learned that Smartfish partnered with New York’s Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) to study the affects motion would have on a user while they compute. It was the collaboration with HSS that helped develop ErgoMotion. Thank you for the great give-away.
